My name is HongXu (Leo) Liao

I'm a sophomore at Brown University majoring in Computer Science. I am most passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics. My fascination with the field traces back to Star Wars, where characters like R2-D2, calculating flight data mid-battle, and C-3PO, fluent in every language in the universe, first showed me the boundless possibilities of AI. What began as childhood dream has now grown into my serious pursuit: I hope to build a career in AI and Robotics research, where I can create technology that people genuinely rely on.

My most proficient language is Python, though I have also worked with a wide range of other programming lanuages. I have also completed several projects, in and out of the classroom, utilizing a wide range of skills, libraries, and frameworks. These project captured what I love most about computer science: the ability to turn an idea into a working tool and learn something real from it. As technology advances and the world grows more dependent on computing, I'm committed to continuous learning and growth — driven by the same curiosity that first drew me in, and aimed at contributing meaningfully to the future of AI and Robotics.
